Every few weeks you mean to click through your competitors' websites to see what changed. Most weeks you don't get to it. This Claude Cowork task checks their pricing and services pages every Monday morning and sends you one short table of what's new.

Every Monday at 8 a.m., check these three competitors' pages: 1. [competitor name]: [link to their pricing or services page] 2. [competitor name]: [link to their pricing or services page] 3. [competitor name]: [link to their pricing or services page] Tell me what changed since last week: prices, new offers, new services. Put it in a short table with one row per competitor. If nothing changed, say so in one line. My business is [what you sell and to whom]. After the table, give me your thoughts on opportunities for my business, based on what you found. End each report with a short snapshot of each page (main prices, offers and services) so next week's check has something to compare against.
Yes. In Claude Cowork you can give a scheduled task the links to your competitors' pricing pages and ask it to report changes every week in a short table. Claude can read web pages whose links you give it. Run it once by hand and compare it with the real pages before you trust it.
Yes, for tasks created since October 6, 2026. Scheduled tasks now run on Anthropic's servers, so they run when your computer is asleep or the Claude app is closed. A task that needs files on your computer only runs there, and older Pro and Max tasks keep running locally.
In Claude Desktop, open Cowork, select Scheduled in the left sidebar, then New task. Give it a name, the instructions and how often to run: hourly, daily, weekdays, weekly or manual. You can also ask Claude to set one up for you in plain words.
All paid plans: Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. Cowork runs in Claude Desktop for Mac and Windows. On Team and Enterprise, your admin controls whether Cowork is switched on, and can also turn off web search, which this task needs. The free plan doesn't include Cowork or scheduled tasks.
Two prompts that go one step further. One finds the competitors your customers are comparing you with, if you're not sure who your top three are. The other puts your prices next to theirs once a month.
My business is [what you sell], for [who buys it], in [your city or online]. Search the web and find the businesses my customers are most likely comparing me with. Give me the top 5 with their website, what they sell, their starting price if it's public, and the link to their pricing or services page. Then tell me which 3 to watch and why.
On the first Monday of every month, check the pricing pages for these competitors: [paste the same three links]. My prices are: [list your main offers and prices]. Make a table with my offers next to the closest offer from each competitor and their price. Then tell me where I'm the most expensive, where I'm the cheapest, and one change you'd test.
Cowork's schedule options are hourly, daily, weekdays, weekly and manual. If the first Monday of the month isn't offered, set it to weekly and check it once a month, or ask Claude to set it up for you in plain words.
