A lead comes in while you're busy doing the work, and the reply slips. This Claude Cowork skill reads each new inquiry, picks the package that fits, offers three call times and saves a reply in your voice to your Gmail drafts. It logs the lead in HubSpot too. You read the draft and hit send. You don't need to be an AI expert to set it up.

Help me build a skill that answers new leads. Read the inquiry. Check my price list in Google Drive and pick the package that fits best. Find three call times on my Google Calendar, draft a friendly reply in my voice and save it to Gmail drafts. Never send it. Add the lead to HubSpot. Ask me questions, then save it as a skill.
Yes, and you can keep the final send for yourself. In Claude Cowork, a skill can read a new inquiry, pick a package from your price list, find call times on your Google Calendar and save a reply to your Gmail drafts. You read the draft and hit send.
Yes. Claude's Gmail connector can save a draft to your Gmail account. It can also send email, but by default Claude asks for your approval before each send. Tell it never send in your instructions, and replies wait in your drafts folder for you.
Yes. HubSpot built a connector for Claude that can create and update contacts and deals and log notes. It works with every HubSpot plan, including free, and needs a paid Claude plan. Add it from the connectors directory in Claude and log in to HubSpot to connect it. It can't delete records.
Use a scheduled task in Claude Cowork. Select Scheduled in the left sidebar, then New task, and tell it to check for new leads and run your lead reply skill. Choose hourly, daily, weekdays or weekly. Scheduled tasks can use your connectors and skills, and run when your computer is asleep.
Any paid plan: Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise. Cowork and scheduled tasks aren't on the free plan. Skills are on every plan. On Team and Enterprise, an owner has to switch on Cowork and the Google connectors for the organization before you can use them.
The complete instructions for the lead reply skill, with the checks that keep it from guessing, plus a template for the Google Doc it reads your prices from. Paste them in if you'd rather skip the back-and-forth when you build the skill.
Name: Lead reply Use this when I say "run my lead reply" or when a scheduled task asks you to answer new leads. Steps: 1. Find new inquiries in Gmail from the last [24 hours]. A new inquiry is [an email from my website contact form / an email with the label Leads / an email from someone not already in HubSpot asking about my services]. Skip anything I've already replied to. 2. For each inquiry, note the person's name, email, company and what they're asking for. 3. Open my Google Doc "[Packages and prices]" in Google Drive. Pick the one package that fits best. If two fit, mention both. If none fit, say so in the reply and suggest a call. Never quote a price that isn't in the doc. 4. Check my Google Calendar for the next [5 working days]. Find three open [30-minute] slots between [9 a.m. and 5 p.m.] my time, on different days if you can. 5. Draft a friendly reply in my voice. Match the tone and length of the two sample replies in the price doc. Thank them, answer their question, name the package and its price, offer the three call times, and sign off as [your name]. 6. Save the reply to my Gmail drafts, addressed to the person who wrote in. Never send it. 7. Add the lead to HubSpot as a contact with their name, email, company and a note: what they asked for and which package you suggested. If they're already in HubSpot, add the note to their existing contact. 8. When you're done, give me a short list: who wrote in, which package you picked, and anything you weren't sure about. If you can't reach Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar or HubSpot, tell me which one and stop. Don't guess.
Make a Google Doc called Packages and prices with these headings. Claude reads text only, so type your prices in. A screenshot or image of a price table won't be read.
Run the skill once by hand before you schedule it. Type run my lead reply in Cowork, then open your Gmail drafts and check the package, the price and the call times against your doc and your calendar.
