If your company pays for Microsoft 365 Copilot, you have two agents worth adding today. Prompt Coach tells you what your prompt is missing. Planner Agent turns the action items from a meeting into tasks in your plan. Here are the steps and both prompts from the video.

Agent 1: Prompt Coach. Most people type a lazy question and wonder why Copilot gives a lazy answer. Prompt Coach reads your prompt and tells you what's missing, such as which file to attach and what format you want back.
Here's my prompt: summarize customer feedback. Make it better.
Agent 2: Planner Agent. Most people stop at the meeting summary. That's half the job. Planner Agent pulls the action items out of the meeting and adds them as tasks to your plan.
Pull the action items from my last client meeting, [meeting name], and add them as tasks to my [plan name] plan with due dates. Start each task title with the name of the person who owns it, like "Sam: send the revised quote". If the meeting didn't set a due date for an action item, leave the date empty and tell me which ones need one. Show me the draft tasks before you add anything.
Prompt Coach is a free agent built by Microsoft that helps you rewrite a vague prompt. It asks about your goal, context, source and the format you want, then gives you a better prompt. It doesn't run the prompt, so you paste its version into a normal Copilot chat. Add it from Agents, then All agents.
Yes, on a work account. Microsoft includes Prompt Coach, Writing Coach and Idea Coach with the free Copilot Chat at no extra cost. Your IT admin has to have the agent switched on. To find it, select Agents in the left pane of Microsoft 365 Copilot, then All agents, and add Prompt Coach.
Yes, with Planner Agent and a Microsoft 365 Copilot license. Ask it to turn the follow-ups from a meeting into tasks in a named plan. It reads the meeting and its transcript, then shows draft tasks with titles and due dates for you to approve. It works with basic plans, not premium plans.
Open Microsoft 365 Copilot on the web or in Teams, select All agents, search for Planner, select Planner Agent and then Add. After that you can open it from the Agents list or type @Planner in a Copilot chat. If it's missing, your admin may have turned it off.
Not yet. Microsoft's FAQ says assignments can't be edited through Planner Agent. It can set the task name, due date, start date, priority, progress and plan. Put the owner's name in the task title, then assign the task to that person in Planner.
A fill-in prompt that gets Prompt Coach to rebuild any prompt properly, the meeting-to-tasks prompt to save and reuse after every client call, a Friday check-in prompt for Planner Agent, and the checks to run before you approve the drafts.
I want Copilot to do this: [your lazy prompt] Help me rewrite it so Copilot gets it right the first time. Ask me one question at a time about: 1. The goal: what I need at the end. 2. The context: who it's for and why I need it. 3. The source: which file, email, meeting or web page Copilot should use. 4. The format: how long, what shape (table, bullet list, email), and what tone. When you have my answers, give me the finished prompt in one block I can copy, and tell me which file to attach before I run it.
Look at [meeting name] from [day]. Pull every action item, decision that needs follow-up and promise anyone made to the client. Draft one task for each in my [plan name] plan: - Title: the owner's name, a colon, then the action in under 10 words. - Due date: the date agreed in the meeting. If none was agreed, leave it empty and list it for me. - Priority: Urgent for anything promised to the client this week, Important for the rest. Then list anything that sounded like an action item but had no clear owner, so I can decide who takes it.
Show me the tasks in my [plan name] plan that are overdue or due next week. Group them by the name at the start of each task title. For anything overdue, suggest a new due date and show me the change as a draft before you save it.
